Crystal Clear

"Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

Not really sure who said this, and if it weren't getting a little late of an evening, I'd google it. Nevertheless, some of us get to live out that axiom, and some never try.

START WITH CHAMPAGNE FLUTES I SUPPOSE
Baccarat, the preeminent crystal purveyor apparently really loves fine glassy goods so much they're now using it as the central gem in their jewelry line.

Works for me. Baccarat is located in France, and has 2 museums there to showcase their finest works. That's all well and good, but it occurred to me that placing their refined crystal in imminently more portable objects like their Psydelic ring is a terrific way for lovers of this material to enjoy it on the go.

A LITTLE HISTORY GOES A LONG WAY
Did you know the whole Baccarat thing started in 1734 when King Louis XV granted permission for a glass works factory to open in the Lorraine (quiche!) region of France. And look where things ended up . . . . on your little pinkie.
